To me, compassion is what makes this world go round. Every day we show compassion whether it is helping people or being nice to them, it's compassion. Compassion is love for one another. My piece Lending a Hand is a symbol of compassion because it is a frame of reality. I think the world today is getting worse and compassion is lessening as well. People don't help each other as much as they did before, like if a person droped there books, some people just walk on by ignoring it. This piece is all about one person's hand reaching for someone elses hand. It is a symbol showing that they care, and that too is compassion.During the process of making our pieces, we used magazines and cut out squares, and formed a mosaioc.
