To me, compassion means to go the extra mile to help someone in need, even if you don't know that person. I believe that compassion is a very desirable quality and if everyone showed compassion, the world would be a better place. To be compassionate I think that you need to care for others, love them, and treat them how you'd like to be treated. My drawing represents my view of the meaning of compassion because it shows a doctor, literally going the extra mile, traveling to Africa to help all of the people with illnesses. It takes a great person and a kind heart to show compassion toward other people. We all need to join together to set a good example and to demonstrate how to show compassion and kindness toward everyone, each day of our lives.
