Compassion is a hard word to define. And when it is defined, the definition is different to every person. In my opinion, compassion has to do with treating everyone-and everything- with love, care and tolerance. Humans are not easy to love, because of our nature and how we can be so difficult. So I believe that we need to start small if we are ever going to have a world full of compassion. I believe that you should start weaving compassion into your friendships and acquaintances. If you can make an impact on that person and help them see that someone cares about them, then maybe they will put that feeling into all their friendships. Its almost like the idea of paying it forward but on a person to person basis, and it is not obligatory. If people can selflessly care about someone else, not only are they showing compassion, but they are showing pure compassion that is not forced upon them or used as an angle.
